Most college dorms do not allow open candle flames--so this lantern jar is the perfect alternative to candles, as it provides a fantasy-like ambiance.
The jar is approximately 7.5 inches tall.
A small hole in the back of the jar allows an electric string of lights to illuminate the jar when plugged in.
Because of its paper coating, this item is not intended for outdoor use.
